American Beauty
While this movie is definitely more on the darker side, it will definitely get you to think about what is most important to you in life. Starring Kevin Spacey and Annette Benning, the story is about the “All American Family” which, like most families, has a lot of problems. The father decides to finally take back his life and leave his job to rediscover his own identity. While the mother struggles to create her success in real estate because she believes she is not “good enough”. And the daughter struggles to find her own identity through social acceptance in school and friends. If you are deep into contemplation about life, this is a movie worth watching. But once again, it is on the darker side of films.
